Have been contemplating whether to continue hiring the maid OR to get a babysitter instead. It may seems like a small matter, but it has been giving me hell of a headaches.

Maid
1. Worry she'll do hanky-panky things behind our back (yes, we've all heard lots of stories about maid stealing, bring man home, abuse the child etc...) The thought of these acts makes my hair stand.

2. Been hearing lots of complains about the maid. Maybe I should set up a Aunt Agony hotline for those people who wanna complaint.

3. I've stopped lifting my fingers to do all the housework eversince the maid joined us about 10 months ago. So the thought of washing toilets, folding clothes, bathing the dogs, vacuum & mopping of floors & many many more, makes my legs goes weak...

Babysitter
1. Very experienced in babycare.

2. Able to pay full attention on my baby.

3. Near my place, thus I can bring Princess home every night.

After weighing all the pros & cons, have finally decided the maid is going to stay.

Have been training her to bathe Princess. Hopefully by the time my SIL goes for her operation in May, the maid will be very good in it.

My 2nd bro-in-law came back from Thailand with his whole family (plus his wife & 2 sons) on 12 Apr.

They stayed in Pan Pacific (complementry from his sis, cos she has got vouchers, so stay for FOC) over the weekends.

taken at the pool lobby

I brought Princess there on Saturday & let her swim in the pool.

She enjoyed it very much. However, one of the boys accidentally splashed water onto her face & she started crying & doesn't want to continue her swim. Whatever it is, she had fun!!

after the swim, back in hotel room.... 3 musketeers & a damsel in distress

whoa!!! Ages since I last wrote...

Princess is already 9 mths old. Can't imagine she'll be 1 yr old in another 3 mths!! It seems like she was born yesterday...

Princess had attained several milestones towards her journey to 9 mths old.

She's able to walk steadily in her walker

She's able to position herself from lying down position to siting to standing, no sweat.

She's crawling like a expert

She's crusing

Most importantly, SHE'S TEETHING!! -- Yes, its something I've been waiting for since she's 4 mths old (that's when she starts drooling).

She's able to recognise some words we said, eg when we ask 'where's oscar' - she'll looks down on e floor, we ask 'kick yr legs' - she'll kick her legs, we ask ' where is yao yao yao (as in shake shake shake, we hang those CNY lantern in the hall - HANDMADE BY YRS TRULY)' - she'll look up, we ask 'knock head head' - she'll bring her head towards us to knock...

Hows that for a 9 mther!!??

AMAZING RIGHT!!
