Everytime when I see other kids on kiddy ride, I always asked myself 'what's so fun about all these rides?? Just sit on top & rock only what...'

Till now, Princess had sat on a few rides. She too, enjoys it!! I enjoy seeing her on the rides too cos she looks so happy... However, most rides are sooooo costly now. A dollar per ride (it was only 20 cents last time).

Took her to Eastpoint last night & she had 2 kiddy rides. One is Bob the Builder (but no music, so boring), the other is Barney & friends (with their signature theme songs). Guess Princess recognise Barney (she had several Barney toys at home) as she kept looking at the purple dino.

Her 1st kiddy ride. This is a helicopter. Instead of just moving front and back, the heli actually can move up & down & left & right. Princess got frighten & rejected the ride. A dollar goes down the drain.
This is the only ride (so far) which only cost 20 cents. So cheap so we let her ride a couple more times

Last night's ride @ Eastpoint. Its rather boring cos no music :( She can hold on to the steerling wheel & turn left & right. Imitating daddy driving.

The best so far. She knows Barney + it plays the theme song. People were actually Q-ing for this ride when they saw Princess playing.

One night, Mr & Mrs T, Baby T & maid were in the car on the way for a meaningful Mother's Day dinner.

At the junction, they turned right to exit to TPE. At that flashy moment, a black Mazda3 car zoomed into our lane. Lucky, Mr T managed to dodged to the right to avoid collision. That was a very close encounter. Mr T being a very hot-tempered person, drove up to the car & start telling the driver off. Mrs T saw its a female Mazda & SHE IS ON THE PHONE (lucky she uses earpiece)!! Instead of feeling sorry for her st***d act, she keep on chatting on phone & drove away, ignoring the angry Mr T.

Mr T's blood boiled. He chase after Mazda, determined not letting her off. During the chase, Mazda cut into our lane again (another st***d move) & jammed her brake suddenly (purposely?), Mr T jammed as well (just in time). The chase goes all the way till CTE entrance. Just before the entrance, Mazda suddenly turned left driving into YCK road. Mr T also managed to turn in time.

Just then, the traffic light turned red. Mazda stopped. Mr T went down his car & stormed to Mazda. Opened her door & start !#$%^&*)~(

Mr T came back after awhile. He told Mrs T the driver seems to be from china or taiwan & she is STILL TALKING ON THE PHONE. The driver claimed she didn't know what she had done & apologise. What else can she do but apologise right, she's ambushed.

P/S: The above are based on a true story which happened on 13/5/07 & all characters are non-fictional.

Yupz, its been a very hectic week for me.

Princess is having her upper tooth, she had fever, she had flu, she had uncomfy sleep at night (the same goes to me). Only one of Princess's lower tooth is out & now she having her upper tooth... I think I saw 2 teeth! I am so happy. My ger is no more a 'bo-gei' (no teeth) baby!!

Past few nights, I can hear her having breathing prob due to blocked nose. Poor ger! :(

And now, I've gotten her flu virus. *sob sob*

As for me, I've moved into the new office located at AMK Hub last week. Very dusty. The lounge was still in complete mess. One week later, Viola, the place is almost done. Rather tied up with work here cos there's plenty of preparation work to be done. Gee, now I know its never easy setting up new office (although I had experienced several office moving with my previous employers).

Lately, I've been thinking about my career. Am I going to stay put here OR should I step out & look for a better pay better prospect job. Looking back, I realised every job I held, I only stay for about 2 yrs. Its coming to 2 yrs for this job now, is it a sign?? I wonder... ...

Last night went to NTUC supermarket @ punggol plaza. We bought a plastic box (to put Princess's t*o*y*s. For a list of her collection, pls refer to my previous entry), 1 packet of diaper & 2 small box of coconut milk (not to drink, mind you.... Its for cooking curry chicken...).

On the way to cashier, I suddenly remembered 'TODAY IS THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH'
*does it ring a bell?*

Yup, its the no-plastic-bag-day-but-if-you-want-pay-10cent-for-it.

Lucky for us, our items are big, so no need plastic bags except for the 2 packs of coconut milk which I managed to squeeze them into my bag.

Back to our car, hubby noticed the lorry parked next to us had a green basket (from the supermaket) behind the vehicle. The basket was full of grocery.

The guy drove off...with the basket!!...

Ha! Ha! Ha! Quite a guy right??

Cannot take trolley cos get caught will kena fine (plus the trolley cost a dollar), no plastic bags given (cost 10 cent ea) SO?? take the basket lah...

This is the first time I see people take the greeny basket home...

What more can I say about Singaporean...

Before I had my own child, I told myself 'No way my kids gonna to have tons & tons of toys. Just a few that's all.' No point having so much right, anyway, they won't remember...

And now, my Princess is ONLI 10 mths old, her toys are TRUCKFUL. Complementary from her Mom (that's me!), Dad & 2nd uncle... I contributed the most, needless to say.

Just to list a few:
1. 2 fabric balls

2. Leap Frog - Caterpillar

3. Leap Frog - Frog
(from thai, complementary from his 2nd uncle)

4. 3 squeaky rubber toy
(frog, dolphin & elephant)

5. Teething rubber x 5
(i tink)

6. Toy hammer

7. Musical table
(bought when she just started to sit up, wanted to let her sit up & play)

8. Bob the builder that can dance & sing *Bob the builder, can we fix it*
(from her 2nd uncle too)

9. Fisherprice stacker

10. Fisherprice musical piano
(from 2nd uncle)

11. Wind-up-and-hop chick & rooster
(had another rabbit but spoilt)

12. Barney & doggie puppet
(from 2nd uncle)

13. Barney soft toy
(suPer sOft)

14. 2 old milk bottles fill with some sago & red bean
(self-made rattle)

and the list goes on...

Her attention is very short-lived. Play with a toy awhile & she'll change another. I foresee she'll be getting more to add to the collection.

However, among all the toys she had, can you guess which is her fav??

Sad to say, none of the above...

Her fav is :
REmOte cOntrOlS

I really don't understand why babies are SOOOOooooooo attracted to remote controls...

Why? Why? Tell Me Why??

They prefer the blackish & grayish plastic object (which comes FOC with the TV & DVD player)

than

the soft-cuddly-eversmiling toys (which we spent more than a quarter of our hard earn money on them).
